Emergency Passport

The Consulate can issue emergency passports only under certain very limited, emergency circumstances. Instead, it is advisable to organize your documents well in advance of your  travel. Please ensure that you have left sufficient time for routine processing since the Consulate must send the passport applications overseas.  It may take up to two weeks for the passports to return to Bermuda.

Emergency passports are only issued in life or death circumstances.

Please contact the American Citizen Services section for further information.
