Service Hours

Non-immigrant Visa Hours

As of October 1, 2007, non-immigrant visa applicants must make an appointment on-line prior to completing the application process a the Consulate. We also have new service hours:

Monday       1:30 - 3:30 p.m. 

Wednesday  8:30 - 11:00 a.m.

Thursdays    8:30 - 10:30 a.m. 

Non-residents of Bermuda must obtain an appointment in order for their application to be accepted. At present, only individuals with bona fide business contacts in Bermuda can obtain an appointment.

Forms may be downloaded from our NIV forms page or picked up from the Consulate. If your need to pick up non-immigrant visa forms or passports containing approved visas, you may pick these up at the guard building at the front of the Consulate, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  If you are picking up passports with approved visas, you must present the receipt, a piece of valid photo identification and sign for the passport.

Immigrant Visa Hours

Immigrant Visa (IV) walk-in service hours are:

        Tuesdays from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

I-130 Petition processing is on Tuesday afternoons (1:30 - 3:30 p.m.) or Thursday mornings (8:30 - 10:30 a.m.) by appointment only.

If you would like to speak with someone in our Immigrant Visa section or need to make an appointment for a Tuesday afternoon or Thursday morning, please call the Consulate at (441) 295-1342.

Additional Information

There is no public parking available at the Consulate; however, parking is available at the Arboretum on Montpelier Road. 

Please note, the NIV and IV sections are closed on all official Bermuda and U.S. holidays.
