Consul General Gregory Slayton congratulates Mr. Leighton Rochester, Bermuda Crown Counsel, on his acceptance into an enforcement training program hosted by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Mr. Rochester was fully funded by USPTO.Deputy Principal Officer Matthew Johnson poses with Bermudian Mr. Steven Somner. Mr. Somner is partnering with consular outreach officers to encourage young people to keep themselves off the "stop list."
 Din and Tonics play in Anglican Church Din and Tonics play in Anglican Church 2
March 2007 - The sun shines on the Harvard Din and Tonics as they sing at the Anglican Cathedral in March 2007. The Dins also shared the stage with the Radcliff Pitches and the Harvard Krokodiloes as part of the "Harvard in Hamilton for Habitat" performance. Although the concert - which was hosted by Consul General Slayton, a Harvard alumnus - was free, more than $4,300 was donated to Habitat for Humanity Bermuda. March 2007 - The Anglican Cathedral was packed for the "Harvard in Hamilton for Habitat" free concert in aid of Habitat for Humanity Bermuda.

Consul General Gregory Slayton co-hosted a press conference with
Bermuda Premier Dr. Ewart Brown on the kickoff of a campaign urging Bermudians to keep themselves off the "stop list" or risk being denied entrance to the United States. Dunkley's Dairy donated space on its milk cartons to carry the message to thousands of family breakfast tables.

 Consul General Slayton and Ms. Cindy Campbell, co-chairs of the American Society/Consulate's July 4th Celebration planning committee, speak at the event's kickoff press conference on May 4, 2007. Premier Ewart Brown and premium sponsors (pictured) were present, as well as Opposition Leader Michael Dunkley. May 15, 2007 Consul General Gregory Slayton and Bermuda's star footballer Mr. Shaun Goater, MBE pose with students from the Bermuda Institute at a press conference to announce Mr. Goater's involvement with the Consulate's "Keep Yourself Off the Stop List" campaign. Mr. Slayton also announced a new competition for secondary school students encouraging them to think about the consequences of illegal activity on their future U.S. travel plans.

David Raths, pastor of St. Peter’s Church.Consul General Gregory Slayton continues the Consulate’s campaign to convince teens to keep themselves off the stop list by speaking to an audience of 150 students at CedarBridge Academy on June 8, 2007. Sharing the stage with Mr. Slayton is Mr. Steven Sumner, a Bermudian having direct experience with the stop list, who is able to communicate how being on the stop list has affected his own life. The Consulate has introduced a stop list competition for secondary school students that invites them to submit a slogan or artwork on the theme "Don’t Put Yourself on the Stop List." The deadline for submission of entries is June 15th.
