Passport Renewals

I. Under age 16

• Applicants must appear in person accompanied by the parents
• Submit the most recent passport
• Submit the original or a certified copy the birth certificate or Consular Report of Birth
• Present notarized Parental Permission (form DS-3053 -fillable or DS-3053 - non-fillable) if one parent is unable to be present at the time of application
• Parental identification for both parents
• Complete form DS-11 - fillable or DS-11 - non-fillable (please disregard instructions on form and do not sign until requested to do so by the consular officer)
• Pay a $85 application fee
• Submit one (1) U.S. passport photo
• If the application is approved, you will receive a 5 year passport

II. If your current passport was issued over 15 years ago

• If your most recent passport was issued more than fifteen years ago, you must follow the instructions for first-time passport applications. 

III. Over age 16 when your last passport was issued

• Submit the most recent passport, issued less than 15 years ago
• Complete form DS-82 - fillable or DS-82 - non-fillable
• Pay the $75 application fee
• Submit one (1) U.S. passport photo 
• If the passport application is approved you will receive a 10 year passport
