Photo requirements

The photos requirements for both Non-immigrant and Immigrant visas are the same. The Consulate will reject any photographs that do not meet the specified requirements.
The photos must be:

• U.S. passport size (2" x2" or 5 x 5 cm)
• Color or black and white on a light/white background
• No head coverings unless for religious reasons

The photograph must be clear with a full front view of your face with the size of the head from chin to top-of-head and not smaller than 2 cm. U.S. passport photos are available from the Washington Mall Studio or the Kit and Caboodle in downtown Hamilton. Bermuda (U.K.) passport photos, vending machine photos or photos produced on a home computer do not meet the required specifications and will be rejected.
