US Citizens to get information on voting

Are you an American citizen planning on voting in the 2008 US election?

For information on how to register for the upcoming US presidential election, tune into the "Ask the Consulate" radio show on KJAZ 98.1 FM this Saturday at its new time, 2 p.m.

As well as providing information about voter registration the show will also promote a new Stop List campaign.

The US Consulate is also organising a "Keep-Yourself-off-the-Stop List" hip-hop contest.

As always, phone lines will be open to discuss passports and visas, as well as this session's topics.

"Ask the Consulate" is a monthly programme airing in a live, call-in format on the third Saturday of each month from 2 -3 p.m.

"Ask the Consulate" enhances existing Consulate services, providing listeners with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues.

The show can also be heard on-line at the KJAZ website, http://www.bdaradio.com. If you cannot make it to a radio or computer on Saturday the information will also be on http://hamilton.usconsulate.gov
