General Information

Hours Of Operation
The American Citizen Services section (ACS) provides information and assistance to U.S. citizens in Bermuda. The ACS office is here to help with U.S. passports, notarials, federal benefits, and a few other specialized consular services.

Important! The American Consulate has moved to an on-line appointment based system for most ACS services. Hours in which appointments may be for booked are: 

Monday      8:30 - 10:30 am
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

You are welcome to call the Consulate for more information Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is no public parking available at the Consulate; however, parking is available at the Arboretum on Montpelier Road.  The ACS section is closed on all Bermuda and U.S. holidays.


How To Contact Us
You may write to us, visit our office in person during the above stated hours, or call the Consulate. In case of a life or death emergency involving a United States citizen, call the duty officer at (441) 335-3828. The duty officer is available 24 hours a day outside normal business hours and on weekends and holidays.
